the future mrs...?

so, my mom's an attorney.

meaning, she went to law school, passed the bar exam (fifteen years AFTER law school, i might add), keeps up with her legal education, yada, yada, yada.

yep, she's super rad.

one day, she decided that she wanted to hook her family up with some new clothes, and thus, she got a job at banana republic for a few hours a week, folding clothes.

during this time, she became a bit of a fashionista.

she's always looked good, but this past summer, she started looking great.

so great, in fact, that the ladies around church started asking my dad how it felt to have a trophy wife.

and the name has stuck with her, ever since.

so when i saw this mug at t.j. maxx, i just couldn't resist!

though i'm planning on becoming a doctor and would rather go without makeup than take the time to wear it, i just had to make mama proud.

....and i needed a place to store my cough drops.
