cuenca.

on our way to valencia this past weekend,
we stopped in a little city called cuenca for a few hours.
and let me tell you,
those were some of the cooler hours of my time here in spain!

i became instantly enchanted with cuenca.
cuenca is known for its hanging houses...
and we got to visit a modern art gallery in one of these houses-- so cool!
i was just obsessed with the whole aesthetic of the city-- the color-stained houses against the bright blue skies against the greenery.

we spent the afternoon perusing the city,
drinking schweppes lemon-lime tonic (the tastiest drink ever!),
and encountering old vespas and drunk men giving flamenco concerts.

we were there during siesta,
and the whole sleepy-spanish-town situation really stole my heart.
