on love.

as today is officially the day of love, i thought it was about time to share with you a video i made last summer of one of the grandest, most beautiful adventures of my life! 

in june 2013, mateo + i met up in santiago, chile, after months apart. we spent the week with our two wonderful chilean friends, carolina + esteban. we spent our time exploring santiago, tasting the local cuisine, and getting engaged by the ocean in viña del mar (!!!). and we're lucky enough to have the whole thing on tape!

mateo's proposal was truly the most perfect thing on earth. i've never really been one for big productions, and i've always had a thing for the ocean, so getting proposed to at a castle in chile that overlooks the pacific as the sun is setting? yeah, let's talk about the most exquisite and surreal memories.
